The Healdsburg Jazz Festival has made it squarely to adolescence without compromising its central mission a whit. Said mission, to bring only world-class jazz to its stages, continues this year, as the Jazz Fest moves into its fourteenth year, with a host of classic headliners, including a trio of NEA Jazz Masters in drummer Roy Haynes, guitarist Kenny Burrell and vocalist Sheila Jordan. Haynes will play with his sons, Jordan’s hosting a Vocal Master Class, and there’s wine, too, lots of wine. Expensive wine. And a French bakery. And all manner of tasty offerings.
