The pairing of actors is, for the most part, fleeting, even on Broadway; bands sometimes stick around for decades, but typically not with the same line-up the whole way through. Opera singers? Feh. There and gone. Ballet dancers, though, they mate for life, like penguins. Well, maybe not mate, per se, but – Anyway, the American Ballet Theatre is in Chicago for the next week-plus, offering up the complex, daunting classic Giselle with any one of five pairs of dancers in the lead.
