In a manner of speaking, at least; the Walters opens a new exhibition, Touch and the Enjoyment of Sculpture, next Saturday, January 21st, which will feature replicas of appealing, and unappealing, Renaissance-era statuettes that are out in the open and available for handling. So, replicas. Big deal. No, you can’t actually run your hands all over a Michaelangelo, but you kind of can, and that’s close enough, right? Well, it should be. The show runs through April 15.
