“Clybourne Park” WILL open on Broadway. It WILL.

So, okay, theater folk are touchy, this is not a revelation. That said, some theater folk are extremely touchy, to the point where a real or perceived slight (in this case, real, apparently) can potentially hamstring an entire production. That’s about what happened with the proposed Broadway production of Pulitzer winner Clybourne Park, which was teetering on a very, very unstable platform recently after a pair of its producers pulled out. (Author crossed producer, producer split. Chaos.) Theater owner Jordan Roth, though, has reassured the cast that the Park will open as scheduled in April.
