Dallas Museum of Art Launches Chronological “Jazz in the Atrium”

The DMA offers jazz of one form or another nearly every Thursday throughout the year as part of the “Jazz in the Atrium” program, but the museum’s going to devote April to a slightly more structured variation on the theme; beginning on April 5th with the Texas Gypsies and “Music of the 20s and 30s”, the entire month will be devoted to a chronological stroll through the history of jazz in the 20th century. Also, of course, there’s ample opportunity for victuals and libations in the museum’s Cafe. Jazz and wine. You have a better way to spend a Thursday evening? (Dallas Art News)
