Dallas Opera to Simulcast at Cowboys Stadium

This will probably work out fine, but still: Cowboys Stadium, which you might remember cost somewhere north of a billion dollars, is going to be hosting a live simulcast of the Dallas Opera’s production of The Magic Flute on April 28. Cowboys Stadium is huge. Say eight thousand people show up for the simulcast, which would be a terrific turnout. Cowboys Stadium seats 100,000+ people. Won’t it still feel empty? Who knows, maybe they’ll just close the lower bowl and only open the suites. That could work.
