This Dutch dance troupe, Introdans, has been a going concern in Europe since 1971, but it’s never managed to make landfall on this side of the big water. Not until now, that is. This was a situation created by any number of conditions – inner conflict, disagreements about vision, etc., etc., and so forth. Then Dutch TV made a documentary about the Introdans last year, Recognition at Last (wishful and yet prophetic title, that) and now they’re – probably right now, in fact – preparing for their debut performance at the Joyce, tonight, and if you miss them, they’ll be kicking around until Sunday, because Introdans is finally here, and they don’t want this to end anytime soon.
