William Eggleston’s shattering, unforgettable Stranded in Canton has been unearthed again for Prospect.2 New Orleans. The 77-minute film, which is emphatically not for the faint of heart, plays on a continuous loop from 11-4 at the Louisiana State Museum through January 29; also on display at LSM is Eggleston’s photo series Nightclub Portraits, which is similarly unsettling but not quite as overwhelming.
