World Dance Fusion artistic director Katy Alaniz Rous thought to herself while reading a Hanukkah story to her son, “This reads just like The Nutcracker,” and lo but an idea was born. This weekend sees that germ blossom into fruition with the opening of WDF’s The Jewish Nutcracker: A Maccabee Celebration, starting tonight at ODC Theater.
