In Advance of Broadway, “February House” Gets Airing at Long Wharf

February House, the new Seth Bockley/Gabriel Kahane musical about the unique and fairly ridiculous time in 1940 when W.H. Auden, Carson McCullers, George Davis and Gypsy Rose Lee shared a house, is one of the Public Theater’s showcase productions for the 2012 downtown season, but the Long Wharf gets it first. It’s up now at the Wharf’s Stage II, running through March 18, and since they haven’t quite worked out all the kinks, those inclined can take a gander at the show before it gets spit-shined.
