Betty Carr Pulkingham has led such an interesting life that for years, friends recommended that the church music composer and Burlington native write a book.

When Pulkingham turned 80, she found the past speaking to her and saw more deeply how she had grown in the wisdom of understand His will. “This Is My Story, This Is My Song: A Life Journey,” a memoir, is her third book and includes stories about music outreach as well as what it was like as a wife and mother of six children in ministry overseas.
