We’ve talked about this before, this seemingly Sisyphean undertaking of moving three hundred and forty tons of granite more than a hundred miles through some very densely populated, and irregular, terrain, this impossible task that would never wind up with the rock making its way to its new home at LACMA, except that it’s happening, starting last night at eleven Pacific time, moving down specific roads six hours at a time, very very slowly, over the course of eleven nights, three hundred forty tons of granite, going home.
