Yeah, February. Short, cold, dark, empty – it’s like a grave. It will end, yes, but we’ve still got nineteen days to go, and it doesn’t much feel like it’s going to end anytime soon, does it? The gloom and doom can abate, somewhat, if you’re in Chicago, at least, which is very, very ironic, yes (because it is cold there, not because we do not love Chicago, which we do, very much) but out in Millennium Park they’re bouncing a light show off The Bean, and that is very nice indeed.
