The Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) will hold its First Annual High School Jazz Festival this Saturday, Dec. 10 at Memorial High School from 1– 8 p.m. The festival concert will begin at 6:30p.m.
The theme of this year’s educational festival is “Big Bands of 1941 — Pearl Harbor 70th Anniversary.” Guest speaker Al Anderson will provide the students and audience with a historical perspective on bands during the World War II era.
