Denver’s art scene, particularly with regards to museums, has made great strides in the past five years, with the recent opening of the Clyfford Still Museum just the most obvious example of the boom. Behind the scenes, however, things are a little less rosy; three of the scene’s alternative art centers are attempting to make do without curators, and the impact has been felt in recent exhibitions.
