Here’s spring! Right? This has got to be a sign of incipient spring. The New Orleans Museum of Art is once again joining forces with the Garden Study Club of New Orleans for the annual Art in Bloom show, beginning tonight at 6 at NOMA. Essentially, the Garden Club is given reign to install dozens of floral arrangements all over the museum that are designed to offset and enhance the works hanging behind, or next to, or near them. Gentle floral scents, a touch of air conditioning, a glass of white wine, great art work – yeah, that sounds like the beginning of spring, to me. (Doug MacCash, New Orleans Times-Picayune)
