Little theater groups, the types that usually play to audiences of less than a hundred, can get up to some terrifically interesting things when the urge for experimentation hits. This is the first we’ve heard of a troupe constructing an entire show around a volunteer from the audience, however. Winner, the Story of You is the new, heavily improvised show from the Dad’s Garage Theatre Company, and the title is a fairly apt description: every show centers around an audience member chosen at random (and lightly vetted, because Dad’s Garage is not crazy) who is then welcomed into service as the star of the show.
