The Perishable Theatre closed this year, after nearly three decades, not because of any personal or artistic tragedy. Money just wasn’t there, dig? Now, though, from the ashes of the PT – and on the same site – comes 95 Empire, a fledgling new experimental theatre that, hopefully, won’t run into the same problems that beset Perishable.
