Pembroke Pines City Center Opens

Tickets are Now on Sale for the First Three Shows at the

Pembroke Pines City Center  

The high-energy thrills found at historically black colleges and universities halftime shows, the genius of the late Freddy Mercury and two-time Grammy Award winners will be the first three must-see shows at South Florida’s newest venue, the Great Hall at Pembroke Pines City Center.  Tickets are now on sale for DRUMLine Live, One Night of Queen performed by Gary Mullen and the Works and Kool & The Gang.

Complete with dazzling choreography and an explosive percussion, DRUMLine Live blends musical highlights from hip-hop, American soul, gospel and jazz, along with unique styles of drumming and mesmerizing musicianship. The show-stopping production is created by the musical team behind the hit movies Drumline and Drumline: A New Beat and will be presented on Sunday, April 2 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $37.50-$75.00.

In a special Pines Day concert, One Night of Queen performed by Gary Mullen and the Works recreates the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of Queen and its flamboyant frontman Freddie Mercury with amazing authenticity. In a staggeringly convincing show, Gary Mullen and the Works perform a two-hour concert featuring all Queen’s blockbuster hits including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Killer Queen,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “We Are the Champions” and many more. The concert is Saturday, April 22 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $22.50-$75.

There’s a party goin’ on right here when Kool & the Gang delivers a night of song, celebration and good times. The band has scored 25 Top Ten R&B hits, nine Top Ten Pop hits and 31 gold and platinum albums with hits such as “Celebration,” “Cherish,” “Jungle Boogie,” “Summer Madness” and “Open Sesame.” The band has also earned two Grammy Awards and seven American Music Awards. The concert is Saturday, May 27 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $29.50-$175. 

PPCC, an SMG managed facility, is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility in the heart of the second largest city in Broward County. The impressive Great Hall offers room for over 3,200 guests seated theater style, 2,600 for concerts, 1,300 classroom style, 1,120 banquet style and more than 100 exhibits for trade shows. Advance ticket sales are available only through Ticketmaster at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at Ticketmaster outlets. On the day of the show, tickets are available at the Pembroke Pines City Center box office 90 minutes before the show.  There is no charge for self-parking.
