The InterAct Theater Company, straight out of Philadelphia, is casting its net wide beginning March 27, when it debuts its new Outside the Frame: Voices from the Other America festival at the Adrienne. InterAct’s mission is the promotion of cultural diversity and awareness, ergo all of the eight plays in FrameFest are concerned with the nature and construction of identity in America. Latino-American, Arab-American, African-American, hell, Antiguan-American, they’re all represented, and, well, not to beat you over the head or anything, but notice the second part of all those descriptors, the one after the hyphen?
