Picasso, ice carvings, multimedia promise creative year

It’s never too early to start your “cool things to do” list. For the art enthusiast in the greater Detroit area, 2012 promises to be a banner year. Highlights include Picasso and Matisse at the Detroit Institute of Arts, a show by animator Bill Morrison of “The Simpsons” at Wyandotte’s River’s Edge Gallery and a Halloween “Vampire Walk” at the Anton Art Center in Mount Clemens.
