Pittsburgh’s 2012 Theater Season Starts with “Jesus Hopped the A Train”

Is there any better way of contrasting Pittsburgh’s old, drab, slate-grey reputation as an industrial wasteland with the new, vibrant, emerging Pittsburgh than by looking at the amount of theater that’s been exploding out of the place in the past half-dozen years or so? Yeah, probably – new companies moving in, anti-pollution incentives, stuff like that – but the theater thing, that’s important, too.
