One of the many ideas floated as part of the complex of buildings at Ground Zero that is finally starting to come to fruition was a planned performing arts center, designed by Frank Gehry, that would have run some $100 million. The funding is still available, but it won’t be come January 1st unless a board of directors can be appointed to head the process. Conflict between the city and Albany. Shocking.
