Yep, Rem Koolhaas has done some wacky stuff – the McCormick Tribune Campus Center at IIT, for starters, which kind of looks like a length of hose on top of a doorstop – and now he and his firm, O.M.A., will design performance artist Marina Abramovic’s new museum/performance space, the Center for the Preservation of Performance Art, in Hudson, NY. No specifics have been announced yet, but God only knows what the Dutch madman will dream up for Marina Abramovic.
