Sacramento’s B Street Celebrates Its 20th

In 1984, Timothy Busfield played Poindexter in Revenge of the Nerds, a crass, infantile film that I have seen nineteen times. Don’t judge me. Three years later, he had grown a beard and become one of the principle players on the classic yuppie drama thirtysomething. Actors live strange lives. And this is before considering that, in between those two wildly disparate gigs, Timothy Busfield opened a theater for children in downtown Sacramento. That theater, Fantasy, eventually morphed into B Street, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in February and has become a Sacramento institution. Nice work, Poindexter.
