You may or may not have heard that NBC is having a little problem convincing people that they still exist. The network’s new slogan, “NBC: Still On The Air!” probably isn’t helping, although it’s a lot better than the rejected “NBC: We Hired Our Head of Programming Because He Knew A Guy!” (NOTE: Neither of those is NBC’s slogan. Please don’t sue.) Tonight at 10, America gets a look at the show that NBC’s hung nearly all of its fortunes on, “Smash”, which is about Broadway and music and Marilyn Monroe and has Katharine McPhee and Debra Messing and Megan Hilty.
