A proposed branch of the Smithsonian Institution that would focus on the Latino American experience, which has not sparked up any controversy at all, no way, since the idea was first floated nearly twenty years ago, might one day be housed in the currently crumbling Smithsonian Arts and Industries building on the National Mall.
