Who knows what they’ve got planned, specifically; all the St. Louis Ballet is copping to at the moment is that, inspired by the success of 2010’s Black Swan, they’ve tweaked the finale into something that artistic director Gen Horiuchi promises will be “extra special”, which will hopefully involve a second swan rising out of the audience to challenge the lead dancer to a duel of the swans, which wasn’t that what that movie was about?
