The Steppenwolf Theatre Company should never be accused of selfishness, not that anyone would, because… they’re a theatre company, and what sort of person accuses a theatre company of selfishness? That’s crazy. STC’s annual “Garage Repertory” series got going this past Saturday, bringing light to a trio of smaller companies that are nonetheless emblems of Chicago’s thriving theater scene.
