(Andy Propst, TheaterMania)  The national tour of the Tony Award-winning The Book of Mormon will launch its national tour at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, running August 14 – September 2, 2012, two months earlier than the previously announced run in December of 2012. The musical has been written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Tony Award winner Robert Lopez. It follows a pair of mismatched Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that’s about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get.
