The sisterhood’s at large in Meadow Brook’s ‘Nunset Boulevard’

It may fly in the face of the stern stereotype, says playwright Dan Goggin, but nuns can be hilariously funny.

You don’t have to take that on faith. Goggin, who grew up attending Catholic schools in Alma, has cranked out seven fabulously successful musical comedies in his “Nunsense” franchise, all born of his own observations of the sisterhood in action.
