Christoph von Dohnanyi is still going strong as he steamrolls toward his 82nd birthday; it’s been a year since he led the Cleveland Orchestra, and they’ve been waiting for his return ever since. The wait ends this weekend, by all projections triumphantly, when von Dohnanyi takes the orchestra on a run through Beethoven’s Ninth, along with works by Wagner and Ligeti. You’ve got three chances to check it out, starting tonight at 8. (Zachary Lewis, Cleveland Plain Dealer)
