Fletcher Wolfe founded this storied and well-respected group in 1957. After Artistic Director and Conductor David White’s controversial tenure from 2001-2009, Wolfe returned to the helm of the group in August 2009 as Interim Director.

This 16-member ensemble for strings, winds, and piano consists almost exclusively of Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musicians. The current Artistic Director, Paula Peace, has led the group virtually since its inception in 1976.

Begun in 1985 as the Gwinnett Festival Singers, the 43-singer group transitioned into its current incarnation as the Atlanta Sacred Chorale in 2000. As ministry partners with Peachtree Presbyterian Church, this professional-caliber choir is dedicated to performing sacred music spanning the Renaissance to spirituals, hymns, and contemporary literature.
