Sacramento Horror Film Festival

Halloween is again upon us.

Those who prefer to share their candy corn with something creepy will find the 5th Annual Sacramento Horror Film Festival the place to be.

Held Oct. 20-23, 2011 at the Colonial Theatre on Stockton Boulevard the SHFF offers everything from classic features to creative shorts for ages seven years old and up.

Twisted fun has always prevailed and continues this year with the usage of the brand new “Gore Meter”. Attendees can determine if they can stomach the on-screen blood and guts before buying tickets.

Among the scheduled films is “A Cadaver Christmas” where the undead, not Santa, arrive for a holiday visit.

The undead are also portrayed onstage in live (?) performances between films.  Joining them
are live (there’s that word again) bands and other entertainment.

Horror host, Mr. Lobo, will reprise his role as the Festival’s master of ceremonies.  Like an
axe murderer confronted with numerous heads he will keep things rolling.

Tickets are available online and can be purchased for a single event or an all event pass.
