Calling All Fanilows!

The Plaza Theatre in Manalapan is presenting their latest show, I Am Music – The Songs of Barry Manilow, now through May 27th. The revue style show, directed by award-winning director Kevin Black, features eight singer/dancers performing the hit songs of one of the most prolific and popular adult contemporary singer and songwriters – Mr Barry Manilow.  This production at the Plaza Theatre marks it’s World Premiere.

The storyline revolves around eight friends who reunite to create their own Broadway-bound show, based on the music of Barry Manilow, The show includes familiar hit songs like “I Write The Songs”, “Can’t Smile Without You”, “American Bandstand”, “It’s A Miracle”, “Looks Like We Made It”, “Daybreak”, and “Copacabana”.

For those who haven’t yet heard, according to the Urban Dictionary: “A Fanilow is someone who is a massive Barry Manilow fan. These fans are 100% committed to the great man that is Barry Manilow.” If this describes you, then you will want to catch this show quick before it closes.
