Love Letters Starring Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal

Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal will star in the upcoming national tour of LOVE LETTERS, celebrated playwright A.R. Gurney’s enduring romance about first loves and second chances.  Following a critically acclaimed Broadway run, Gregory Mosher’s production will play an exclusive Florida engagement Tuesday July 21 through Sunday, July 26, at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts..

LOVE LETTERS is the story of Andrew Makepeace Ladd III (O’Neal) and Melissa Gardner (MacGraw), two young people from similar backgrounds who take very different paths in life. Despite leading lives which should not intersect, they can’t let go of each other throughout their 50 year friendship, marriages and families with other people. They defied a fate that schemed to keep them apart, and lived – through letters – for the one most meaningful thing, their undying love for each other.  Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal, who starred together in the classic 1970 film LOVE STORY, will once again star together as  lovers, some 40 years later, in this beautifully written play by A.R. Gurney.

LOVE LETTERS will play at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts July 21 – 26, 2015. Tickets start at $35.00.  Orders for groups of ten (10) or more may be placed by calling 954-660-6307.  Tickets will be available at the Box Office at Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW Fifth Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33312.  The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is one of America’s premier performing arts venues, consistently ranked among the top ten in the country.
