Stung and Wounded

Main Street Players presents a play reading of Stung and Wounded by Florida based playwright Patricia Wakely Wolf on August 3rd at the Main Street Playhouse.  The show will be directed by Ivan Lopez; and the cast will be as follows: Manny Catalino – Jordan Reams,  Michael Fernandez – Robbie Meeks, Peter Galman – Clive McFadden,  Robert Coppel – Tom Crawlston, Donna Warfield – Ali Williams, Paul Steinsland – Stage Directions.
A young lawyer, on the fast track to partnership at a global law firm, has his professional life challenged when his cousin, a pedigreed associate at the same firm, supersedes him on that fast track.  The firm’s senior partners dangle partnerships to the young attorneys like dog treats. They want the associates to suffer like they did when they crawled up the ladder.  In this cutthroat scene is a temp whose skill set, sophistication and personality works to her advantage and that of the young attorneys with whom she sides.  As the shark-like behavior of the attorneys reaches a feeding frenzy, the would-be partners come to grips with their own integrity and realize the price of achievement in the legal world.
This free play reading of Stung and Wounded will be at 8:00pm on August 3, 3015 at the Main Street Playhouse.  The theater is located at 6766 Main Street in Miami Lakes, Florida (located directly across from Johnny Rocket’s in the Shops at Main Street).
