The Shakespeare Conspiracy

Andrews Living Arts Center presents the Florida premiere of The Shakespeare Conspiracy by Ted Bacino and Rufus Cadigan, based on the novel of the same name by Ted Bacino. The story of the greatest literary deception of all times! How could Christopher Marlowe, a known spy and England’s foremost playwright, be suspiciously murdered just days before he was to be tried for treason?  How could William Shakespeare, an unknown actor, become England’s greatest playwright virtually overnight- when he had never written anything before?

Experience the intense drama between historical characters as the arguments unfold.  Learn facts cleverly hidden, and truths cunningly discovered. The Shakespeare Conspiracy is the tale of the underbelly of London as the Black Plague scourges the country; suspense, murder and comedy with mention of Shakespeare’s scandalous romps and illegitimate children; the unraveling of “the Bard’s” throne; and exposure of the illicit gay love affairs of 16th Century, Elizabethan era.
