“Tomasito” Cruz

Tickets are now on sale for “Tomasito” Cruz & his critically acclaimed Salsa/Tropical Rhythms Orchestra and Stage Show —the highlight of Palm Beach Dramaworks’ spring celebration slated for Saturday, March 17th. Entitled “Hot Night in Havana at the Tropicana,” the evening of dinner and entertainment will benefit West Palm Beach’s longest residing theater company. Chairmen Jan Willinger and Don and Linda Silpe announced the evening will feature a tropical-infused cocktail hour in the beautiful Cohen Pavilion lobby and then guests will be magically transported to a lively and “wickedly” fun-filled evening in Havana—starring the one and only “Tomasito” Cruz & his Orchestra and Stage Show.

Endearingly loved and celebrated “Tomasito” Cruz has been part of three Grammy Award-winning CD’s along with Alejandro Sanz, Willy Chirino and Arturo Sandoval. Cited as one of the top percussionists in the world, he is a noted singer/songwriter and presents a unique show, full of Cuban flavor and Latin jazz fusion. So don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Proceeds from the benefit will support Palm Beach Dramaworks. Tickets are $450 each with VIP ringside tables of 10 for $6,000 and are tax-deductible as provided by law. The Cohen Pavilon is conveniently located at the Kravis Center, 701 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL. For reservations and additional information, call Leslie Mandell (561) 514-4042, Ext. 106.
