Seattle jazz heads take note: this Friday, November 4th, the U District Jazz Festival starts its three day run. There are different packages for tickets. The best deals are the early bird tickets: $35 for all three days (including a voucher for a free drink and any of the venues.)The festival is an expanded version of the U District Jazz Walk. The University District’s own Jazz Festival; a festival that fuses the personalities of local businesses with the local Jazz talent in the NW. LUCID Jazz Lounge will celebrate the third year of uniting Seattle’s University District to create an outlet for the Jazz Community, an area that went too long without one. Come this fall, amble through the “ave,” with Jazz as the guide and be introduced to worlds created by the venues and amplified by the beats of the music.

The U-District Jazz Festival will take place in The University District (University Ave NW), Friday November 4th through Sunday November 6th.

Music will cover all corners of the Jazz world such as, big band, straight-ahead, swing, funk, vocals, free jazz, modern jazz, Latin, gypsy and electronic. Venues will include the comforts of coffee shops, the casualness of a pubs and the swag of a lounges.
