Hudson Valley Arts: Art Scene in Hudson Valley

One of the wealthiest areas in the nation, the Hudson Valley is known as a favorite place for Manhattanites to move when they want to swap their tiny co-ops for big suburban houses, or as a summer getaway. Given the proximity of NYC, Hudson Valley denizens don’t have to travel far to get an arts fix, but they also have plenty of cultural options right in their own backyards, with plentiful community theater productions, children’s and family shows, outdoor concerts, dance performances, and art exhibits.
