Brothers of the Little Oratory in San Diego

Comprised of secular (unordained) Brothers in the tradition of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri, this small choir regularly sings during Mass, Vespers and other liturgical services in Catholic houses of worship throughout San Diego. The musical selections include both monophonic Gregorian chant and polyphonic works; translation booklets of the Latin texts, as well as hymn sheets are readily available at services.

La Jolla Symphony & Chorus

With its distinctive integration of student, volunteer, and professional musicians, the La Jolla Symphony & Chorus is an ensemble whose motto could easily be “for the community, by the community.” La Jolla originated from humble beginnings in 1954 when Peter Nicoloff—a Bulgarian conductor and musical refugee fleeing censorship in Communist Revolution-era China—cobbled together a modest group of local amateur musicians known as the La Jolla Civic Orchestra. ...more...

Orchestra Nova

Formerly known as the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Nova San Diego strives to expand the local classical music audience beyond downtown San Diego to include communities in the North County region. San Diego Master Chorale

Although the ensemble began its artistic contributions to the southern California region as the San Diego Symphonic Chorale, the vocal ensemble—now totaling over 125 singers—started to present concerts independent of the San Diego Symphony in 1979, as the San Diego Master Chorale.
