Founded in 1997 under the direction of Russian-born ballet master and choreographer Mo. Vladimir Issaev, this company offers a repertoire that includes classic works by such ballet icons as Petipa, Bournonville, and Fokine, as well as original works by Issaev. ABTF performs at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, the Julius Littman North Miami Beach Performing Arts Theatre, The Parker Playhouse, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, and major venues in Boca Raton and Hialeah. The troupe has also toured Europe and Mexico, and has appeared in various schools in both Broward and Miami-Dade counties with the goal of educating children about ballet.
