The roots run deep in St. Louis when it comes to jazz and blues, and BB’s is one of those places that revels in the city’s history and its connection to music. BB’s features live music seven nights a week with a whole host of great jazz and blues players. The cover is usually $5–$10 and the award-winning food is quite reasonable (the sweet potato fries are highly recommended). Arrive early for shows, as it can get quite crowded. Also, locals will tell you that the parking can be a hassle on game nights due to the proximity to Busch Stadium, so plan accordingly.
