A Tampa Bay area landmark, the Beach Theatre was opened in 1940 (with a showing of Dust Be My Destiny) and is believed to be the Florida Gulf Coast’s first theater equipped for sound. You never know what to expect at the Beach Theatre, which showcases both mainstream Hollywood fare and independent features.
