The Boston Pops is a holiday staple, known not only in Boston but all over the world for its programming of light classical and popular favorites. It’s particularly well-known for holiday concerts, performing numerous shows during the Christmas season and a large concert on the Esplanade for the 4th of July celebration.
Boston Pops at The BSO Information

- Performances/Programs: About 30 Holiday Pops concerts, plus a limited number of spring, touring, and free concerts, are offered
- Ticket Prices: $27–$122 for Holiday Pops; the annual Esplanade concert is free. Groups of 25 or more receive discounts to most concerts. A limited number of Rush tickets for Boston Symphony Orchestra concerts on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons are set aside to be sold on the day of the performance. Rush tickets cost $9, are limited to one per customer, and must be paid for with cash only. Open Rehearsals are open to the public and are offered at a discounted price from the actual performance ticket prices. Tickets to Open Rehearsals are priced for general admittance and seating is on a first-come first-served basis. Tickets are $19.
