With decor right out of the golden age of jazz, The Brown Street Club seeks to provide a welcoming atmosphere with a focus on great music. The club hosts live jazz five nights a week (Tuesday–Saturday) and bargain basement prices (often free). Dinner and cocktails can be rather expensive, so we recommend stopping by Brown Street for an after dinner treat and fantastic jazz. Given the apparent lack of a jazz scene in Greenville, it’s impressive that Brown Street is able to feature everything from gypsy jazz to straight ahead trios and duos.
