Named by the Miami New Times as the best art cinema, Cosford Cinema screens international and independent movies, student film festivals, and special programs. The Cosford, located on the University of Miami’s Coral Gables campus, is frequently used for lecture series and events that have brought in renowned guest speakers like Kevin Spacey, John Landis, Richard Gere, and UM alum Ray Liotta.
The Bill Cosford Cinema is a 240-seat state-of-the-art facility capable of showing all traditional film formats, electronic video formats, and high-def. The Cosford is also home to the Raymond J. Regis Motion Picture Archives, a collection that includes thousands of rare original prints of theatrical motion pictures.
