The Frick Collection Concerts—featuring various guest ensembles and soloists in recital—are designed to complement the museum collection and its featured exhibitions. The performances include a wide variety of classical music offerings, including works by such distinct composers as Dowland, Haydn, Chopin, Schubert, Janáček, Korngold, and Britten.
The Collection Concerts occur on Sundays at 5 p.m. from October through May each concert season. In addition to the staggering variety of musical styles, the concerts often feature artists making their New York debuts. For classical music aficionados who love live chamber recitals, this series is essential. .
