Tracing its roots back to the Rotary Civic Chorale, formed in 1961, today’s Greenville Chorale is a thriving musical ensemble with over 200 singers on its roster. The Chorale has performed a number of South Carolina premieres of major choral works and has collaborated with Greenville Symphony on performances of Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 and other orchestral/choral masterworks. Greenville Chorale performs around 6 concerts per season, including a wildly popular annual holiday concert. Season tickets are available and are quite reasonable considering the caliber of programming and performance.
